It is well known that Valle d'Aosta is the smallest region of Italy, the thing that not everyone knows, however, is that despite its size it is rich of attractions for tourists from different tastes! Matter of great interest for travelers have always been the high mountains among which it rises: the Mount Bianco, Rosa, Cervino and Gran Paradiso, in fact, attract each year skiers and mountaineers from every country. But the beautiful snowy landscapes that distinguish Valle d'Aosta in winter, in summer become the setting of fascinating activities such as canoeing, kayaking or rafting.
Dora Baltea comes from Mont Blanc, it is about 160 km long and is nicknamed "Colorado Europe" through the power of its waters. Being a nivo-glacial river it has a very high extent, but mainly between May and September, when the glaciers melt, the river rafting on the Dora Baltea becomes an adrenaline and unforgettable experience ... everyone can experience the thrill of down the rapids of the river on the raft as there are routes with different difficulty levels and each group is always accompanied by experienced and reliable guides.
The equipment provided to each person who wants to try this activity consists of: a special suit, jacket, helmet and a lifejacket.
Once the crew is sitting inside the boat, unsinkable and self-bailing, it is given a paddle to everyone and then all individuals become part of a team which has to face the current trying to reach the end of the path.
