MASSERIA SOLICARA - LECCE

3 hour of DJ set, the only Italian date in August and the first time in Naples for the world's most famous electronic duo, the British Chemical Brothers. In the beautiful New Arena Concerts of Masseria Solicara (Lecce) they present their last album 'Further' (EMI Music).

Day Off Agency organizer of the Day Off Music festival, for this third edition 2010 (August 8) has surpassed herself in the province of Lecce bringing international stars such as the electronic music duo: Chemical Brothers, touring the world to present the latest record 'Further' (EMI Music).

In Lecce - for the first time and as the only Italian date for August - would bring an exclusive DJ set - no less than three hours - retracing their most popular hits, and of course the songs on the new CD.
The album, the seventh studio album of the two "chemical brothers" is a dynamic and adventurous journey beyond the boundaries of music, where Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons explore the infinite possibilities of their sound, surprising the many fans with the most visceral album their career.

"Further visceral is a snapshot of their style, now something classic, now sounds more alive than ever, unbalanced, by no traditionalist, quite ahead of new generation" (XL Magazine - June 2010). And yet "... between rave and psychedelia, power and rarefaction, Further to become a cult discography of the two."

The peculiarity of 'Further' on the package and contents: The Chemical Brothers have chosen to convey their new work, presenting him as an 'audiovisual experience, adding a video to every song, with the invaluable collaboration with Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall. Adam, appreciated now as TV director (recently completed the first episode of the next series of Doctor Who), is the creator of the backgrounds for each concert by The Chemical Brothers since their live debut in 1994.

'Further' comes three years after publication and success of "We Are The Night" and presents a summary of a journey through four decades of electronic noise. Tom & Ed have taken the musical model created with their "Electronic Battle Weapon" and transferred him to a whole album. In this new work, a collection that sees the Chemical Brothers sound less sober and more melodic, there are "guest vocalists, as before, because the brothers no longer need to depend on popular items: they are the absolute masters of 'electro-pop and nobody in the world can make music like them.

The same day, on stage, including leading names in the international electro scene as Nathan Detroit (UK) - DJ and promoter in the evenings "Bugged Out!" And "Clint" in London - el'italianissimo Congorock talent, based in Milan, DJ and producer, a typical example of Italian dance that has dug out abroad, and Bloody Croockers Beetrots (which also worked). Congorock (aka Rocco Rampino) participated in all major festivals worldwide and a 4 American tour. Not bad for those who started from Salento, playing hardcore and punk ...
