"WILD PIANO"

After the great success over the last year, Sunday, August 15, 2010, from 10 to 18, the park Villa Gregoriana in Tivoli (Rome) returns again to host the final stage of the project "Wild Piano" - A piano wild nature sounds (http://wildpiano.wordpress.com), which will see the pianist-composer Philip G. Binaghi and his inseparable piano concert in a dozen beautiful natural locations Italian, including Maratea, Ravello, Monterosso al Mare and Valtournenche.

"Bringing music to places it has never been. Wild Piano is a musical project that wants to disrupt the canonical location of a concert pianist, the challenges of nature and at the same time be part of it "here is the laudable intent of this talented musician Varese, born in 1980, whose engaging and charming show will perfect location in Villa Gregoriana, one of the most beautiful in Italy, currently run by the FAI - Italian Environmental Fund. The piano will be placed between the Tiburtina Acropolis and Temple of Vesta to Tiburno, overlooking trees and ancient ruins, and during the day are taking place eight mini concerts lasting 20 minutes each. Philip G. Binaghi perform known songs of a different kind: it passes from the classical repertoire (including the two Mozart fantasies. The "Moonlight", Adagio of the fourth concert of Beethoven and a tribute to the composer Satie and De Falla) with notes film music refurbished for the occasion (Rota, Morricone, Elfman, etc..), some transcripts from Carmen, the symphonies of Mahler and Ravel's Bolero to get to exciting original compositions and improvisations, resulting from the flow of thoughts, images, sounds and smells of the moment and then channeled into the keyboard.

History Park Villa Gregoriana
Ordered by Pope Gregory XVI, Park Villa Gregoriana was founded in 1835 by the installation of Aniene old bed, overwhelmed by the disastrous flood of 1826. With the opening of the Mont Catillo the village of Tivoli was stashed by the raging waters that carried channeled into new artificial, created further down the stately and sparkling spectacle of Great Falls, over 100 meters high. The old river bed became the destination of a daring walk overlooking the valley between steep trails, woods and tunnels, it was incumbent on the lookout Great Falls, entered in the Caves of Neptune and Sirens, crept into what had been the bed of waterfalls and reemerged at the foot of the Acropolis temples. Since then, throughout the 800, Villa Gregoriana was stage travelers, poets, artists, kings and emperors, all captivated by his artificial beauty. After years of closure and abandonment, in 2002 the park was granted by the State to the FAI, which is committed to taking costly restoration required for the reopening to the public in May 2005.
